Because it´s the rainy season lots of people prefer to visit the beach, so there are not so many tourists and you´ll be able to enjoy the city without so many crowds.
WEATHER
This is our low season because it´s also our rainy season, here we don´t have rain all day long like in other cities, it´s usually an evening or night thing, you can enjoy your day in the morning and bring a raincoat and an umbrella for the daily rain after 6:00 pm. It´s usually not super bad lasting between 15 minutes and max 2 hours and you can continue enjoying your day.
THIGS TO CONSIDER
Because of the rain evening traffic can be horrible, try to be at your neighborhood before the rain starts so you can avoid to be stuck in traffic forever. Mexico City tend to flood when we have heavy rains, also consider this if you need to be somewhere on time, once it took me 4 hours to reach the airport due heavy rain floods
COOL THINGS TO DO AND SEE
- Gay Pride – Ours is one of the biggest prides in America, the parade is colorful and beautiful and the festive atmosphere makes it the perfect opportunity to show your support to the LGBTTTIQA community. It happens usually in late June.
- Fireflies forest – This is an awesome day trip you can take from June to August, spend a night at this magical reservation and get away from the city chaos
