It´s a good time to see the city because the sun makes everything pretty but be prepared with summer dresses, shorts and a hat, you´ll see that not many locals wear shorts and that´s because we are not used to that, we will wear jeans even if the weather is super hot.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

If you visit around holy week the city will be kind of empty, some street stalls and local businesses won´t be open during holly Friday, but mayor restaurants an attractions would be working as usual.

Many apartments have air con, so if you are staying at an Airbnb ask them in advance or be prepared for hot nights.

COOL THINS TO DO AND SEE

The best season for rooftops and sidewalk tables, try to find a hotel with a good swimming pool like Down Town Hotel or Hotel Carlota to enjoy the hot days sipping margaritas between museums and lots of eating.

Ceremonia Festival – is one of the most important independent music festivals in Mexico City, it is well known for its musical curation and taste, booking every year the most important acts in the electronic, hip-hop, and alternative music scenes. Usually happens in early April.

Mother´s Day – This is a very important celebration in the country so most restaurants would be crowded, try to plan something away from restaurants like a street food tour, but you can also pay a visit to the main flower market where you´ll see enormous displays of red roses and flower arrangements, the crowds are huge specially on the 9th and 10th, its cool if you like to see flowers and lots of people.
