This is a very common taco that you’ll find everywhere in the city, the best are the ones with hand made tortillas. The premise is simple: thin steak grilled with a little bit of oil topped with either onions, smashed potatoes, french fries or cactus pad salad.
Our advice is always add lime, salt and of course sauce, every place has a different one, you can try a little before deciding which one to use or, put half and half.
If you don’t like over cooked meat, just tell the taquero you want it “termino medio” medium rare, or “vuelta y vuelta” for rare. The meat is so thin that a very quick time on the grill is more than enough.
This one is made with an oval shaped hand made tortilla, cactus pad salad and chile morita sauce.
