WEATHER

The rainy season is usually over, but sometimes we have evening rain, during the day is usually warm and at night you´ll need a light jacket or a sweater.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

If you are planning to come for day of the dead, try to book tours and activities in advance because these activities are so popular that would be probably sold out.

COOL THINGS TO DO AND SEE

Day of the dead festivities – From October 26th to November 3rd we have lots of activities, altars, parades, exhibitions. Try to book a tour to visit the flower market because is awesome and the flowers will make you super happy, and if you can learn about the festivity with an altar workshop or something a little bit more immersive rather than just wandering around the graveyards (some locals don´t like to see tourist at their family celebration)

Try Pan de Muerto – This is a seasonal pastry that literally translate as “dead bread” and its a delicious brioche like sweet bread with a touch of orange blossom covered with sugar, its round shaped and has some bone like figures on top.

Corona Capital – In November we hace this is a huge music festival that features the best international and Latin American bands such as The Strokes, Interpol, Billie Eilish and more.

Flow Fest – The biggest trap and reggaeton festival in town, takes places also in November if you like to twerk this is perfect for you
